Nominations open for 2025 NSW International Education Awards

The 2025 NSW International Education Awards are now accepting nominations, spotlighting the state’s most exceptional international students and the organisations supporting the international education sector. 

With approximately 328,500 international students currently studying in New South Wales, these awards offer a significant opportunity to acknowledge their valuable contributions to local communities and the wider economy. 

A total of seven awards will be presented across two main categories: 

  • NSW International Student of the Year Award – Recognising the achievements of international students in four areas: Schools, English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS), Vocational Education and Training (VET), and Higher Education. 
  • NSW International Education Industry Award – Highlighting outstanding programs and initiatives in three categories: Industry Excellence, Innovation in Education, and Employer Excellence.

Nominations for the 2025 awards have now closed as of Monday, 11 August 2025. Finalists will be announced in October, with the awards ceremony taking place in Sydney on Monday, 24 November 2025.
