Celebrating Innovation and Excellence: 2025 NSW International Education Award

NSW’s 2025 International Education Award finalists for Student of the Year and Education Industry Awards announced.

The NSW International Education Awards return to Sydney, shining a spotlight on the state’s most inspiring international students and the organisations that champion their success. Now in its twelfth year, the event recognises outstanding achievement and transformative impact across the international education sector. The awards in 2025 feature 20 finalists in five categories:

NSW International Student of the Year Awards:
Recognising individual students for their contributions to education and the wider community across three categories:

  • Schools
  • Vocational Education and Training (VET) and English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS)
  • Higher Education

NSW International Education Industry Awards:
Celebrating organisations and initiatives that support international students across two categories:

  • Industry Excellence
  • Innovation in Education

This year the Awards introduce the Innovation in Education category, which recognises organisations, institutions, and EdTech providers that are redefining international education through technology and creative solutions. The Innovation in Education Award celebrates those driving change, whether by harnessing artificial intelligence to support student journeys, developing new digital platforms, or developing programs that improve learning outcomes for international students.

Winners across all categories will be announced at the awards ceremony in Sydney on Monday, 24 November 2025.
