About Araf

Araf Khan is an exemplary international student whose dedication to leadership and community service has profoundly enriched both his school and wider NSW community. As Senior Prefect, Araf has fostered inclusivity and student engagement, leading major events such as Harmony Day and NAIDOC Week, and mentoring junior students. He has championed important causes through the Interact Club and Anti-Racism Club, promoting multicultural understanding and advocacy for gender equality.  

 

Beyond school, Araf has contributed over 160 volunteer hours, earning the NSW Premier’s Diamond Award twice, and engaged actively with the Concord Farmers Market and Rotary Club. His involvement in the Rotary Youth Enrichment Program and the Environment Club reflects a strong commitment to community and sustainability. Despite living away from family, Araf has become a valued figure in the school community, demonstrating resilience, initiative, and a passion for social justice, peer support, and cross-cultural understanding.
