About Ananda

Ananda Galeti is an inspiring painting and decorating student at NVR Education Australia, originally from Brazil, who is making a significant impact in both her education setting and the wider NSW community.

Balancing her Certificate III studies with part-time work and running her own mural business, Ananda uses her creativity to foster connection and drive social change. She actively builds community among her peers, serves as a Peer Mentor, and contributes valuable industry insights. Notably, her involvement in the SAY Something Youth Program led to a mural promoting feminism and gender equality, earning praise for her leadership and care.

Excelling in a male-majority trade, Ananda challenges industry stereotypes and encourages greater gender diversity. Through her passion for public art, advocacy, and commitment to social impact, Ananda demonstrates how skilled trades can preserve culture, support wellbeing, and create lasting positive change.
