What advice do you have for other international students?

Be sure to make the most out of your time in New South Wales. There are many kinds of activities out there so have fun and make friends throughout the duration of your stay.

What opportunities has studying in NSW given to you?

Aside from receiving a world class degree, studying in New South Wales has given me the opportunity to discover different cultures available to Australia. As I build my network here through meeting many people, I have become more socially and culturally mature. Moreover, being in a progressive society, I was fortunate enough to volunteer for the Redfern Legal Centre which provides free legal support to international students and the International Student Leadership Ambassador (ISLA) program where I have received professional leadership training and participated in work integrated learning.

What has been your favourite experience in NSW?

I love to go on hikes and New South Wales has many hidden gems worth exploring. My favourite experience so far is hiking in the Royal National Park. It is home to the coastal track from Bundeena to Otford and contains many popular attractions such as Wedding Cake Rock, Figure 8 pools, Jibbon Beach, Wattamolla Beach and the Winifred Falls. I highly recommend it if you have not been!
