Univative 2016 Winners Announced

28 July 2016

This week we congratulated the 188 students who participated in Univative Sydney, and awarded the winners of 2016!

In 2016 StudyNSW continued to sponsor this fantastic Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program, and special thanks must go to this year’s projects hosts EY, Oracle, Accor, Australian National Maritime Museum, White Ribbon, Co-op Bookshop, Clickview, CHBS Health Fund and GradAustralia.

Univative

Held in the beautiful Great Hall at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), the closing ceremony recognised all participants for their hard work and commitment. The winning teams were awarded certificates from Jonathan O’Dea MP, Parliamentary Secretary for Trade and Investment, Tourism and Major Events.

Univative saw students from UTS, Macquarie University, University of New South Wales, University of Sydney and the University of Wollongong grouped into small consulting teams and given a brief by their project hosts. Students had three weeks in order to plan, research, discuss and offer a solution to real-life business problems.

With a total of 97 international students having participated in the program, Univative saw international students connect and collaborate with their domestic counterparts, allowing them to build friendships and develop valuable skills for their future careers.

We thank all the students, universities and project hosts for making Univative 2016 such a success.
