3 June 2019
PitchEd NSW, a pitch event for companies in the education and technology sector was held on the 24th May 2019 at the Sydney Startup Hub. The event provided a pitching and networking opportunity for EdTech companies, investors, government representatives, education providers and schools.
The event was a collaboration between Study NSW, NSW Department of Education, Jobs for NSW, The Sydney Startup Hub, Sydney EduTech Group and EduGrowth.
The event brought together six EdTech companies who pitched their business idea or model. Block 42, Arludo, Literatu, Star Maths Online, Cogniss and Life Skills Go each pitched an innovative idea that covered in class learning, student engagement, app development and solutions for teachers. The session was a chance for education stakeholders to hear about new ideas and companies in the sector as well as for EdTech companies to connect. “The PitchEd event was fantastic for us. We left the morning with seven customer leads and an investor that wants to be kept up-to-date.” – Leon Yong, CEO Cogniss.
Study NSW was proud to support this fantastic event that proved a great success for the pitching EdTech companies. For further information on EdTech events visit the EduGrowth website.
