Lord Mayor Clover Moore has tonight extended a warm welcome to newly arrived international students from across the globe at Sydney Town Hall.

The evening marked the start of the students' educational journey in Sydney and the beginning of a lifelong connection with our city. An official welcome from Lord Mayor Clover Moore was made to students, followed by an address from international student Uttam Kumar from India, who has lived in Sydney for more than two years and has been actively involved in international and local community engagements. The night concluded with entertainment and refreshments.

For more than a decade, this evening has celebrated Sydney's diversity and strengthened community connections. StudyNSW is once again proud to support this great event for new international students.
