Nominations for the 2016 NSW International Student Awards are now open

The NSW International Student Awards celebrate the outstanding contribution international students make to communities in NSW and recognise excellence in international student community engagement.

Award winners will be announced at a gala event to be held at the iconic Sydney Opera House on 11 October 2016. International students in NSW are encouraged to participate in the Award nomination process in two ways:

• If you are an international student who has contributed to the community, or are aware of another international student who deserves recognition, we encourage you to approach your/their education provider to nominate you/them for one of the International Student of the Year Awards.
• If you know an education provider, business or community group who has run initiatives to connect international students to the wider community, please encourage them to nominate for the International Student Community Engagement Awards.

Online nominations are open from midnight AEST, Sunday 1 May 2016 and close 5pm AEST, Friday 1 July 2016.
