FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR 2016 NSW INTERNATIONAL STUDENT AWARDS

The finalists for the 2016 NSW International Student Awards have been announced by Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres.
Organised by StudyNSW within the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, the awards see 17 students and organisations nominated in the categories of 'English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students' (ELICOS); 'Higher Education', 'Schools', 'Vocational Education and Training' (VET), 'Business/Community Group Engagement' and 'Education Provider'.
The 2016 student finalists come from a diverse range of countries including Nepal, Spain, China, Nigeria, Bangladesh and Indonesia.
The NSW International Student Awards celebrate outstanding contributions made by international students to communities in NSW, and acknowledge the organisations that support international students with community programs and initiatives.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday 11 October.
