Finalists announced!
The finalists for the 2015 NSW International Student Awards have been
announced by Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres.
Organised by StudyNSW within the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, the
awards see 18 students and organisations nominated in the categories of
'English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students' (ELICOS); 'Higher
Education', 'Schools', 'Vocational Education and Training' (VET),
'Business/Community Group Engagement' and 'Education Provider'.
The 2015 student finalists come from a diverse range of countries including
Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, China, Iraq, Cambodia, Afghanistan and Sweden.

The NSW International Student Awards celebrate outstanding contributions made
by international students to communities in NSW, and acknowledge the
organisations that support international students with community programs and
initiatives.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday 13
October.
