The Australia Awards Seminar Series was successfully launched on Monday 8^th July at NSW Parliament House in Sydney. Australia Awards scholarship recipients from Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia and Papua New Guinea were in attendance, along with representatives from NSW Government, NSW State Office of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australia Awards in Indonesia and Philippines Embassy.

The launch was followed by a tour of NSW Parliament House and the first seminar of the series delivered by the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Premier’s Priorities Unit. It was a highly engaging look at the implementation of the Premier’s priorities by government.

The Australia Awards Seminar Series consists of five seminars that aim to enhance linkages between Australia Awards students and NSW government. Future seminars will explore infrastructure, health, starts ups and the environment in NSW. The next seminar will be on the Thursday 25^th July and be delivered by Infrastructure NSW.
