28 October 2019
The Australia Awards Seminar Series concluded in an Acknowledgement Ceremony held at Parliament House on Monday 21 October 2019. The ceremony marked the end of the 2019 seminar series and celebrated the participation of the Australia Award scholars and relationships built between them and NSW Government.
The Australia Awards Seminar Series consisted of five seminars over four months delivered by the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Infrastructure NSW, Ministry of Health, Sydney Startup Hub, NSW Treasury and Office of Environment and Heritage.
The program is a collaboration between Study NSW and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to enhance people to people linkages between NSW Government and the scholar's home countries of Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines and Cambodia.
'I am grateful for the opportunity to learn so much about the NSW programs, projects and services. The ideas I learn from this seminar series are so relevant to me and the work I intend to pursue back home' - an Australia Awards scholar.
