What opportunities has studying in NSW given to you?
Studying in NSW has opened the gates of the world to me. I became connected with NSW authorities from different local councils in order to implement projects and become engaged with the community. My professors were talented and inspiring, and I met enthusiastic young leaders who I have embraced as part of my life's history. The study experience in NSW is a blessing!
I have also been working for the Australian Bushland Restoration company as a bush-land re-generator. Some of the tasks I do are planting native trees in the most bio-diverse way and identifying and combating weeds.
Due to my pro activity and dedication towards initiatives aiming to protect nature, I was selected and fully funded to join the UNESCO Man and Biosphere Programme in Venice, Italy. I also had the opportunity to collaborate on some of the United Nations statements, mainly in regards to the conservation of the world's biosphere reserves.
What has been your favourite experience in NSW?
I have also loved the opportunity to meet fantastic Australians as well as people from different countries such as South Korea, Japan, and Nepal. I have also been able to visit gorgeous parks, natural reserves and attended amazing events, such as art-gallery opening days and festivals. I love taking tracks and walking a lot while appreciating the amazing natural environment.
