Celebrating excellence

The NSW International Education Awards recognise the outstanding contributions international students make to communities in NSW, celebrate excellence in organisations working in international education, and appreciate individuals who have had a significant impact on the sector.

Award categories

    Two groups of awards are presented — the NSW International Student of the Year Awards and the NSW International Education Engagement Awards.

    NSW International Student of the Year Awards

    These awards recognise the contribution made by individual students to both the international student community and the broader NSW community. The award is offered across four categories:

    • Schools
    • English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS)
    • Vocational Education and Training (VET)
    • Higher Education

    NSW International Education Engagement Awards

    These awards recognise the contribution of individuals, education institutions, businesses and community organisations that support international students to connect with the community through programs and initiatives. The award is offered across three categories:

    • Business and Community Organisations
    • Education Providers
    • Outstanding contribution to the International Education Sector

    The outstanding contribution is a new award recognising an individual who has made a significant and ongoing contribution to the International Education Sector in NSW.
